PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY AND PIERRE-DUPUY HIGH SCHOOL
A Concordia student in Science helped the students to develop science projects, and organized an end-of-year Science Fair at Pierre-Dupuy high school.
SCIENCE WORKSHOPS AND SCIENCE FAIR
12 students participated in our science workshops, and 7 of them created projects for the Science Fair.
The Science Fair took place at Pierre-Dupuy on the same evening as the end of year musical show (May 19th 2009) and it was a great success for the youth. The students presented the following projects during the 15-minute intermission:
1. Electricity, What a Shock!
2. Battery Power
3. Plastic Milk
4. Salt Crystals
Due to the exceptional motivation of the students to complete their science projects, we decided to grant seven awards to those involved.
