Journalism
PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY AND JAMES LYNG HIGH SCHOOL
A Concordia student in Journalism started a school newspaper, which focused on social issues and current affairs, thus giving a voice to the students at James Lyng high school.
Our Journalism project coordinator helped the students of James Lyng High School create a new student newspaper, THE SCOOP. 30 students participated in the production of two editions, one in April and one in June, of the eight-page long student newspaper.
CREATIVE ASPECTS OF THE NEWSPAPER
The students had the opportunity to explore several creative aspects of journalism:
- Reports
