Schools partners of Youth Fusion in the Greater Montreal
Youth Fusion creates innovative partnerships between high schools and universities, in an effort to counter high school dropout rates. The formula is simple: Youth Fusion sends university students or recent graduates, working as project coordinators, into disadvantaged high schools to implement projects that motivate at-risk teenagers to stay in school, and strengthen their school spirit and sense of belonging.
Our program goes beyond mentoring. The university students work 15 to 25 hours per week in their designated high schools for the entire 36 weeklong school year, and develop activities in their own field of study.
